Kavan hand-held model airplane engine starter

A 12 volt electric starter for starting 2-cycle glow engines of .20 to .60 size and 4-cycles of .20 to .90 size. The 5:1 planetary reduction gear gives the starter tremendous torque from its small diameter motor. It fits your hand; only 1-3/4" diameter and 6-3/4" long. It won’t tire out your flying hand: at 1-1/2 pounds it is only half the weight of direct drive starters. Kavan Planetary Gear Starter has a positive brush switch (the motor brush itself becomes the switch) with an ergonometrically designed thumb lever that’s easy to actuate.
