Jeti controllers for brush motors -- for flyers who hate reading operating manuals
Jeti brings you more control options but with fewer directions to follow. You can program each of these controllers to follow one of 4 operating conditions by simply changing the location of the little jumper pin on the controller. The 4 operating conditions are: Propeller Brake ON, Battery type NiCd or NiMh, Motor cut-off at 4 Volts (or 0.7V per cell) Prop Brake OFF, Battery type NiCd or NiMh, gradual Motor cut-off at 4 Volts (or 0.7V per cell) Prop Brake ON, Battery type Li-poly, gradual Motor cut-off at minimum voltage 6V with 2 Li cells, and 9V with 3 Li cells Prop Brake OFF, Battery type Li-polymer, gradual Motor cut-off at minimum voltage 6V with 2 Li cells, and 9V with 3 Li-Po cells These controllers all have: high rate variable switching (1000-4000 Hz), with high output BEC (Battery Eliminator Circuit: powers receiver and servos from the big motor battery) that allows a lot of servos to operate, user-programmable settings as listed above, automatic adjustment of the throttle range, safe "power on" arming (keeps motor from starting when not expected), "soft start up" to prevent propeller or gearbox damage, automatic shut down when signal is lost, and limited maximum braking action to prevent prop or gear damage. They also have automatic current limiting that will allow the current to your motor to exceed the normal level by about 5 Amps before cutting off. JES006 through JES045 are Lithium Polymer friendly!
