Phoenix Series Controllers DO NOT require programming. If you choose, you may simply connect the wires to your components and go fly. The Phoenix standard settings will work for most applications: Auto-LiPo cell detection with soft cutoff when cells reach discharged state, Throttle Range is self-adjusting, Auto Motor Cutoff when radio signal is lost or radio interference becomes severe.

Phoenix controllers are programmable if you wish to change the default settings. This can be done manually with your transmitter, but it is highly recommended to use the Castle Link USB Programming Kit (sold separately) which gives you access to a whole new world of tuning options. Customize the settings on your Phoenix to get exactly the performance you want, right from your PC. You can download all the latest features and install them on your Phoenix at any time.

Phoenix 10 Amp

The versatile Phoenix-10 can be used in aircraft or helicopter applications and is ideal for Astro 010, Hacker B-20, Mini 1615, and CD-ROM motor applications. As an aircraft ESC, the Phoenix-10 is superbly suited for micro flyers. Several cut-off choices to choose from, with cut-off settings for 2, 3, and 4 cell Lithium Ion and Lithium Polymer packs, yet it works just as well with NiCad and NiMH cells. An optional brake, over-current protection, and a host of other features make this the sensorless controller to own! Micro helicopter owners couldn't believe this little gem when it was introduced. Disabled brake, low cut-off voltage, fixed end points and rotor governor in one unit at an unbeatable price make the Phoenix-10 the choice of micro heli flyers everywhere. With it's unparalleled feature set, the Phoenix-10 is an excellent ESC for both beginners and expert flyers. It's features allow a single investment to grow with your flying needs.

Phoenix 25 Amp

The Phoenix-25 is the workhorse of many a modelers fleet, and a favorite choice of 3D foamy pilots. Still small and light enough for indoor and parkflyer models, but capable enough for high performance flying wings with Speed 400 size brushless motors. Your Mega 16/15 series, Feigao and Himaxx 28mm motors, small and medium sized AXI motors, and Hacker B40 motors will all perform at their peak with the Phoenix-25.

Phoenix 35 Amp

Use the Phoenix-35 when you need more power from your medium sized motors, or are looking for the best brushless controller for your Corona, ECO 8, or Voyager RC helicopter. From 3-4 pound sport flyers to helicopters, the Phoenix-35 has the capability and smooth reliability you need. The Phoenix-35 gives you the flexibility you've come to expect from Castle Creations controllers. With a total of 7 user-programmable features this speed control has it all! User programmable features include: Low-voltage cutoff - 4V, 5V, 6V, 7.2V, 9V or 12V, Over-Current Protection - 5 settings, Brake Type - 5 settings, Throttle Range - fixed/self-adjusting/governor, Timing Advance - 3 choices, Cutoff Type - hard or soft, Switching Frequency - 3 choices.

Phoenix 45 Amp

With a surge current of 60 amps, the Phoenix-45 is well suited for warmliners, small hotliners, and even some .40 size glow conversion projects. Matched up with Hacker B50 and C50 motors, medium and large AXI motors, or 36mm Feigao motors, the Phoenix-45 puts a lot of power at your fingertips, and all in a very light and compact package. With the same programmable features of it's smaller cousins, the Phoenix-45 can be set for helicopter installations (including those with collective pitch) or airplanes. Additionally, for competition flyers the Phoenix-45 features an adjustable switching rate for optimum efficiency. Phoenix 60 Amp

With the ability to handle up to 20 cells, the Phoenix-60 has become a favorite among high performance sailplane, large helicopter, and large glow plane conversion pilots. The Phoenix-60 is the controller of choice for Logo 10 and ECO 16 pilots around the world. Large scale airplane pilots love the features and versatility, and especially the smooth throttle response and start-up found on all Phoenix controllers. With the now familiar programming options in the Phoenix line, the Phoenix-60 can be set for helicopter installations (including those with collective pitch) or airplanes. Competition flyers will benefit from the Phoenix-60's adjustable switching rate to insure optimum efficiency in their models.

Phoenix 80 Amp

Never has there been this much reliable power capability in such a compact package. The Phoenix-80's whopping 120 amp surge rating puts it at the head of the field for LMR competition flying, F5D pylon racing, and large helicopters. With a super low 0.001 ohms of resistance, the Phoenix-80 keeps it's cool under the most demanding conditions. The Phoenix-80 comes with the full range of Phoenix programming options including adjustable switching rate, programmable brake and several timing modes for the ultimate in competition controllers.

Phoenix 125 Amp

The Phoenix-125 is the paramount controller for either competition F5B and F5D flying, or just high energy hotliner sport flying. With an amazing 160A LMR surge rating, it can handle any LMR type application on the market. Space can be critical in tight performance fuselages, and the Phoenix-125's compact 1.25 x 2.65 x 1" dimensions leave you plenty of room for such an incredibly capable speed controller.

Phoenix 180 Amp

The Phoenix-180, designed for incredibly high amp draw at up to 25 volts. This is now the most powerful controller in the Phoenix line and is intended for extreme applications such as high powered racers and electric sailplanes that demand extreme amps. Phoenix 180 will reliably control up to 4,500 watts! This controller has won more than its share of international F5 go fast events.
